Siblings are forever (Søsken til evig tid)
The siblings Magnar and Oddny Kleiva have led their entire lives working on their small family farm in the valley of Naustdal, Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. In a country where living standards have skyrocketed during the last decades, the brother and sister still lead to a slow paced working life, close to nature and what they find important in life.
The first film portrays a year in their lives, beautifully shot. But during the first movie they get visitors: Distant relatives from America – who invite them to visit Minnesota, and see how people live there. Thus came Siblings are forever – The Grand Journey.
Watch the films digitally on Vimeo (in both Norwegian and English).
